Mordred Hello everybody
I have a question, I hope someone can help me:
I have a picture of two castles but I don't know there names. But first, what do I know:
The two castles stand on two hills about 3 km away from each other. Between them flows a river. It's somewhere in France. The two castles where importent during the war between France and England during the 12th & 13th century. One castles was owned by the English, one by the French. Today they are destroyed, only ruins stand.
DEN They may be Beynac and Castelnau-Bretenoux which are on opposite side of the River Dordogne. The river marked the front between the England and French during the Hundred Years War.
